Ditchling Common is located in a much sought after residential area of Sussex and within easy commute of Brighton, Haywards Heath and Lewes. In late 2014 Rego Property purchased an existing pub sitting on extensive gardens. A planning application was lodged in late 2015 and planning consent granted for 7 houses in 2016. Once planning was achieved the site was sold to a SME house builder.
The development comprised the following:
______________________________________________
2 x Three Bedroom Houses c. 1,100 sq ft
5 x Four Bedroom Houses c. 1,335 – 1,700 sq ft.

Royal Oak is located on the edge of the pretty village of Ditchling set within the Sussex landscape. The two-storey dwellings were designed with pitched roofs with feature gables to the street scene and large oversized window openings. Traditional materials were used with a contemporary layering, of black cladding, projected and facing brick, alongside slate roofing.
The new dwellings sit harmoniously within its landscape to create a rural and landscape-led street scene. By integrating buildings and landscaping, the development aimed to provide connectivity between residents, their dwellings and the wider open rural landscape.
